Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Physical Therapist, providing essential support and expert guidance to students in a dynamic school setting in the Olympia, WA area. Qualifications & Experience:
Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to support students, staff, and families Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a compassionate approach Knowledge of current best practices in school-based PT services
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs and educational objectives Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student participation and progress Document evaluations, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and provide training or consultation to staff as needed Encourage student independence and advocate for necessary accommodations within the school environment Experience the satisfaction of helping children develop the physical skills they need to thrive, while working as part of a supportive and motivated educational team.
