Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' growth as you work as a physical therapist in a dynamic school setting near beautiful Port Hadlock, WA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to contribute your expertise within an educational community, helping children reach their full potential through specialized therapeutic support. We seek candidates who bring a strong academic background and a passion for working with young learners. You'll enjoy collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to best serve each student's unique needs.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current State Physical Therapist License, in good standing Prior school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued, but not required Understanding of IEPs and school documentation processes is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' physical abilities, needs, and goals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with educational objectives Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP development Support teachers and staff with strategies and accommodations Communicate progress with families, educators, and other specialists Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for students You'll receive ongoing support from a dedicated recruiter as well as weekly pay.
