What We're Looking For:
Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active State Physical Therapist License (sanctioned by the State Board of Physical Therapy) Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is desirable, but not required Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexibility and adaptability in meeting students' individual needs
Responsibilities Include:
Assessing, planning, and implementing therapy treatment plans for students with diverse physical needs Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success and inclusion Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district policies Educating staff and families on strategies to facilitate student mobility and independence Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student goal development Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
