Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity providing direct PT services this summer. You'll be serving a focused caseload of elementary and secondary students during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. This hands-on role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference, offering on-site support and collaborating closely with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license Valid Washington State ESA certification Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or ESY setting preferred Strong commitment to supporting student growth and participation Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, staff, and parents
Position Details:
Contract engagement in a school-based environment ESY dates: July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026 Monday through Friday, 5 hours per day On-site only; no remote or virtual options Manage a caseload of 10-15 students receiving ESY services
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group PT services in accordance with student IEPs Conduct thorough assessments and maintain detailed progress documentation Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and related service providers Support students in developing functional mobility, motor skills, and access to the school environment This is a fantastic short-term contract for a skilled PT interested in supporting students' summertime learning and growth in a dynamic school setting.
