Position Overview:
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to enhance our outpatient orthopedic services. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of 8 Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeons and collaborate with over 20 experienced therapists. Our approach focuses on treating the root cause of pain rather than just the symptoms, valuing a holistic and patient-centered care model. Full-time candidates are preferred. Candidates with a minimum of 20 hours and 2-3 weekdays of availability will also be considered.
Key Opportunities:
Provide high-quality, individualized physical therapy care for upper quadrant conditions. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans. Educate and guide patients through their rehabilitation process. Utilize advanced techniques and evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
Typical Caseload Includes:
A variety of post-operative and conservative hand/shoulder/upper quadrant diagnoses. 1:1 patient scheduling with therapist-driven appointment times, ranging from 40-70 minutes. Opportunity to expand treatment to other areas of the body. Full-time candidates should expect to see approximately 8 patients per day.
Mentorship Opportunities:
Outstanding 1:1 mentorship program with nationally recognized clinicians. Access to 14 CHT-trained clinicians with an average tenure of 11 years. Generous continuing education package, including in-house and national training.
Qualifications:
Eligible for Wisconsin state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Both full-time and part-time hours will be considered with a flexible schedule. Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
