Full Job Description Seeking Part-Time Employee:

This is an excellent opportunity to work and learn in preparation for a graduate or undergraduate degree in healthcare. We are seeking energetic, compassionate and organized individuals with good communication skills to assist our therapists with their patients. We are currently seeking a part-time Aide. Spanish or Armenian speaking and experience with exercise and exercise instruction also a plus. Seeking a PT Aide to join our expanding physical therapy outpatient orthopedic clinic/wellness/golf center. We are a high-end clinic primarily catering to clients of all ages and orthopedic conditions. We pride ourselves in being compassionate listeners and have established an environment where our patients understand they are being cared for by a "family". Preference is given to individuals holding a BS in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field seeking experience and hours to apply to graduate school. Primary Description Under the general and direct supervision of a physical therapist: A. Provide clinical and general support to physical therapist(s) ensuring timely and accurate adherence to daily clinical procedures. B. Assist in providing a pleasant and professional environment for patients, family and visitors. C. Maintain responsibility for general maintenance and upkeep of facility throughout the workday including, but not limited to, collecting used laundry items and replacing with clean laundry, maintaining professional appearance of equipment, and cleaning treatment tables regularly. D. Assist patients in performance of therapeutic exercise under the direct supervision of a physical therapist. E. Adhere to all HIPPA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and record keeping. F. Perform other diverse duties as requested or required. II. Skills and Traits A. Ability to work effectively and work with other personnel. B. Accuracy required in all areas of work. C. Initiative, organizational ability, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure. D. Ability to use good judgment, tact, and diplomacy in all interpersonal communication. E. Stable and adaptable; neat and well groomed; able to give and take direction well. F. Good public relations skills with clientele and public.
