In this vital role, you will ensure smooth clinic operations by managing patient intake, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional patient service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that promotes patient care and supports our physical therapy professionals in delivering top-quality treatment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to improving patients' mobility and well-being through effective communication and organization. Provides administrative and clinical support in an outpatient physical therapy setting by assisting licensed physical therapists with non-clinical patient care tasks while managing front office operations, scheduling, and customer service. Duties Front Desk / Receptionist Duties Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments Maintain accurate patient records and electronic medical documentation Handle patient intake forms and update demographics Coordinate communication between patients, therapists, physicians, and insurance companies Manage faxing, scanning, filing, and emailing of medical documents Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Assist with daily office opening and closing procedures Physical Therapist Aide Duties Prepare treatment areas and therapy equipment before patient sessions Clean, sanitize, and organize equipment and treatment rooms according to clinic and California health standards Assist patients with basic exercise setup under direction of licensed physical therapists Monitor patients during exercises and report concerns to supervising therapist Transport supplies and maintain inventory of clinic materials Apply hot/cold packs and assist with non-skilled patient support activities as permitted under California regulations Assist therapists with patient flow and room turnover Demonstrate proper use of exercise equipment as instructed by supervising therapist Ensure clinic safety and cleanliness throughout the day Skills Exceptional patient service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Strong understanding of patient care procedures within outpatient settings Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and acute care practices Previous clinic experience preferred, especially in orthopedics or geriatrics but we welcome freshers who wants to get some experience in medical field and rehabilitation field. Ability to handle intake procedures efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting Provide excellent customer service and patient support Maintain professional communication with staff and patients Work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment Support clinic productivity and patient satisfaction goals Perform other administrative or support duties assigned by clinic management This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a caring environment while gaining valuable experience in medical administration.
