Job Description

Morales Holistic Health Center Downey, CA Established Medical Professional Facility in business for over 37 years in Downey, CA and seeking a qualified candidate for a Licensed Massage Therapist position. Since 1985, our team of health care professionals provide patients with quality and compassionate pain relief that includes Chiropractic Care, Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, Lifestyle Advice, Fitness and Nutrition, Yoga, Spinal Postural Screenings and X-Rays. This position requires flexibility and constant ability to adapt your technique to the patient depending on need and presentation. Position Licensed / Certified Massage Therapist Status Minimum Part-Time (25 hours/weekly) Salary Based on experience Qualifications and Experience  Documentation of California License or Certification for Massage Therapy  Ability to adapt your technique to patient presentation and condition  Ability to type and use a computer based documentation system  Professional communication style that is direct yet compassionate  Familiar with anatomical terms and usage  Punctual and organized, starting and ending sessions on time  Good hygiene and professional presentation  3-5 years of relevant work experience (preferred)  Bilingual in English and Spanish and other languages (preferred) Responsibilities Collaborate regularly with the Doctors and staff for patient progress and treatment goals Maintain treatment rooms and prepare them for therapeutic sessions, which include room staging, organizing supplies, and other related tasks pre and post session Documenting treatments and sessions Attend staff meetings to prepare for the workweek and discuss relevant office issues Maintain any clerical tasks relevant to the course of patient care including any paperwork or forms used to track patient encounters Location Available to work in Downey, CA Hiring Process Submit a cover letter along with your resume Phone interview to follow with a face to face interview and tour of the facilities.
