About the Role As a Physical Therapy Aide, you'll be at the heart of our clinic — supporting our physical therapists with patient care while keeping the front and back of the office running smoothly. It's a fast-paced, hands-on role that's perfect for someone who likes variety, works well with a team, and wants to grow in the healthcare or rehabilitation field. Duties Assist physical therapists with patient preparation, including setting up equipment and ensuring proper positioning for therapy sessions Support patients during treatments by providing encouragement and ensuring their safety and comfort Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, therapy equipment, and supplies to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety Help with patient intake procedures, including documenting vital signs and updating medical records accurately Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and report observations to the supervising therapist Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining accurate documentation Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and medical terminology standards to facilitate effective patient care Skills Strong commitment to patient service and compassionate care delivery Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices Prior hospital or clinical experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is highly desirable Familiarity with acute care, post-acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care environments enhances your effectiveness in this role Ability to assist with intake procedures and support patients through various stages of recovery Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in fast-paced settings Embark on a rewarding career path that combines energetic support with meaningful patient interactions.
