Physical Therapy Aide

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans both land and Aquatic
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
• Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
• Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will help you assist physical therapists in providing effective treatment to patients.
