This role supports treatment implementation, patient education, and clinic operations while collaborating closely with the Lead Physical Therapist and clinic management to ensure high-quality care and operational efficiency.
Location:
Century City, Hawthorne, and other locations in future based on scheduling needs.Schedule:
Monday-Friday and some possible weekends. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administer physical therapy treatments and exercises as outlined in patient care plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Monitor and document patient responses to treatment, progress, and any concerns, and promptly report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, modalities, and use of equipment in accordance with established protocols. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and proper use of assistive devices as directed. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare treatment areas, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment. Collaborate with the Lead Physical Therapist on patient care coordination and scheduling needs. Communicate effectively with clinic management regarding workflow, patient needs, and operational concerns. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and professional practice standards. Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and professional development activities as required. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility) in the applicable state. Current CPR/BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred (or equivalent clinical experience). Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Physical and Work Requirements Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as necessary. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday. Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety.Pay:
$26-$40 per hour depending on experience plus benefits.Pay:
