Key Responsibilities:
Patient Support:
Assist patients with exercises, mobility tasks, and therapeutic activities as directed by Physical Therapists. Provide guidance and encouragement during their rehabilitation process.
Treatment Preparation:
Prepare treatment areas, set up equipment, and ensure all tools are sanitized and ready for use before each session.
Equipment Maintenance:
Clean and organize therapy equipment, ensuring all devices are properly maintained and available for patient use.
Patient Interaction:
Greet and escort patients to treatment areas, helping to create a welcoming and supportive environment.
Administrative Assistance:
Help with scheduling, managing patient flow, and completing basic clerical tasks, including recordkeeping and filing documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Interpersonal Skills:
You must be able to connect with patients, provide compassionate care, and communicate effectively with both patients and the healthcare team.
Physical Stamina:
This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and assisting patients with mobility tasks. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to follow directions accurately and maintain organization within the therapy areas. Interest in
Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine:
A passion for healthcare, fitness, or rehabilitation is highly valued, as this position offers excellent exposure to physical therapy practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic or healthcare setting is a plus but not required. Interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy, sports medicine, or related fields.
