Job Description

MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ANATOMY
- Massage Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Personal Trainers, etc. We are a busy, fast-paced and growing chiropractic office in Groton, CT, looking to hire a part-time Therapy Assistant Team Member. The ideal candidate must have an upbeat and positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate strong ability to prioritize and multitask. This team member should have experience and/or a passion for health and exercise. Candidates must have training in human anatomy due to required knowledge of the muscular system to perform job requirements. Candidates must also meet the physical requirements of the position: ability to stand during a shift, move around in a fast-paced environment, bend, lift light to medium objects, and demonstrate therapeutic exercises to patients (on the floor or treatment table). In addition to teaching simple exercises, key responsibilities include: setting patients up at therapy stations including: muscle e-stim, ultrasound, thermo-stim, and decompression tables.
