Physical Therapy Aide

Overview We are looking for a friendly, fun and dedicated person to join our team as a Physical Therapy Aide . The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and contribute to many duties. Duties Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions. Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under the supervision of licensed therapists. Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment to promote safety and efficiency. Document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist. Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and daily activities to enhance recovery. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Engage with patients to provide encouragement and support throughout their rehabilitation journey. Experience Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and orthopedics is advantageous. Familiarity with geriatric care practices is a plus for those working with older populations. Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support. Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
