Physical Therapy Technician Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care to individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries. You will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience and supporting their rehabilitation journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, along with excellent patient service skills. Duties Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions. Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under the supervision of a therapist. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment. Document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist. Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities. Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Able to visit local physician offices to drop marketing material and communicate with office manager for proper business listing. Implement new marketing strategies to improve client retention and growth of the business. Assist with patient flow within the facility as per the direction of the Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential. Familiarity with medical terminology related to physical therapy. Experience in patient care, particularly in orthopedics or geriatrics, is preferred. Ability to work effectively in an outpatient clinic setting. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service. Willingness to learn and adapt to various therapeutic techniques. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with assisting patients during therapy sessions.
