The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
Provides support to clinical staff to ensure quality patient care in a clean and safe environment. Performs routine duties in department (e.g. storing linen, cleaning whirlpool, etc.) and assists therapist, when necessary, with patients of all ages. This position will work in in-patient, acute care setting.
Qualifications:
Required:
HS Diploma or GED AHA BLS Provider Certification Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
Minimum of 6 months - 1 year of therapy aide or rehab aide experience Basic knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement terminology
Certifications and Licenses Required:
AHA BLS Provider Certification Scheduling Requirements:
Per Diem Essential Functions:
Uses hospital approved disinfectants as per hospital policy and procedure General housekeeping and infection prevention Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment Assists clinicians in preparation and clean up for patient care Assists physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers Completes any other duties as assigned
