In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. You will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive the support they need during their rehabilitation process in an outpatient setting. This position will be Part-Time. Approximately 20-25 hours a week with rotating Saturday morning hours 1-2 times a month in the non summer months. Duties Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercises as directed. Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies. Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques under the supervision of a therapist. Support the team in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow using EMR program. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Requirements Experience in outpatient settings is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff. A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient care. Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or in a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
