Responsibilities Support physical therapists by preparing treatment rooms and assisting with patient setup for therapy sessions Help facilitate patient intake processes, including gathering medical histories and explaining procedures Assist patients with exercises and mobility activities under supervision, ensuring safety and proper technique Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment, treatment areas, and supplies Monitor patient progress during sessions, report observations to therapists, and document relevant information accurately Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, offering encouragement, and ensuring comfort throughout treatments Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating with other healthcare team members Qualifications Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings is highly preferred, especially in inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation environments Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and acute care practices is essential Demonstrated commitment to patient care with a focus on geriatrics, orthopedics, or post-acute care is advantageous Strong understanding of hospital medicine principles and experience working in sub-acute or outpatient clinics is desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively support patients of all ages and backgrounds Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining a proactive approach to patient safety and comfort Prior exposure to inpatient or hospital environments will be considered a plus Embark on a rewarding career journey where your dedication makes a real difference!
