Physical Therapy Aide

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will support physical therapists in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing rehabilitation. You will assist with various tasks, ensuring a positive experience for all patients. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care practices, particularly in orthopedics. We are dedicated to a unique/concierge experience of Physical Therapy, allowing us to spend more time and attention with our patients. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions, ensuring safety and comfort. Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies. Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks as directed by the therapist. Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising therapist. Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and treatment plans. Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and equipment use. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files. Qualifications Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is preferred. Experience in acute care or outpatient settings is a plus. Strong understanding of patient service principles and practices. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Compassionate demeanor with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not required.
