Physical Therapy Aid

Job Overview We are a modern, one-on-one physical therapy clinic in Midtown Manhattan focused on delivering highly personalized, hands-on care. Each patient receives private treatment sessions, allowing us to prioritize quality and real outcomes. Our clinic integrates physical therapy, acupuncture, and advanced technology such as shockwave therapy, Class IV laser therapy, traction machines, anti-gravity treadmill, and posture analysis systems. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working with these technologies, including learning how to set up and operate selected equipment in real clinical settings. You will also assist with patient exercises and be actively involved in the rehabilitation process, gaining practical insight into how treatments are applied and progressed. This position is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in physical therapy or healthcare. Schedule Tuesday through Saturday (30-40 hours available) Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercise guidance Prepare and maintain clean, organized treatment areas and equipment Guide and monitor patients during exercises, reporting any concerns Set up and operate select equipment under the direction of the physical therapist, including traction machine, PEMF therapy, anti-gravity treadmill and diagnostic machines Assist with exercise program updates and sending home exercise programs (HEP) to patients Support overall patient flow and maintain a safe, professional clinical environment Assist with front desk tasks as needed, including patient check-in/out, scheduling, and administrative support Requirements Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Ideally a long-term candidate interested in growing with our team! Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and/or physical training is preferred. Previous experience is a plus but not required Opportunities Engage with physical therapists in creating exercise programs and discuss a variety of therapy techniques. Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
