Full Job Description Job Duties:

Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance: This includes managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient patient flow by handling check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining organized and up-to-date medical records. Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care if needed: This involves setting up examination rooms with necessary equipment and supplies, assisting healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, and providing support to patients as needed. Knowledge of billing coding and data entry is a plus: Familiarity with medical billing and coding procedures, as well as proficiency in data entry, can enhance the efficiency of administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families: Medical assistants play a vital role in providing emotional support and assistance to patients and their families by demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions.
