Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Aide and play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and rehabilitation. In this energetic position, you will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering exceptional patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care settings. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive environment where patients feel motivated and cared for throughout their healing journey. Duties Support physical therapists by preparing treatment areas and assisting with patient setup for therapy sessions in the home setting Help with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining treatment plans Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment spaces Assist with documentation of patient activities, progress notes, and treatment records in compliance with healthcare standards Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions and ensuring a welcoming environment Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within outpatient or inpatient settings Qualifications Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to effectively assist in therapy sessions Prior hospital or clinical experience, especially in acute care, inpatient, outpatient, or sub-acute care environments Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and those requiring post-acute care Demonstrated commitment to patient service and compassionate care delivery Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced healthcare setting Familiarity with orthopedic or hospital medicine practices is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and support staff Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication directly impacts patients' recovery journeys!
