Physical Therapist Assistant

Role Summary:

We are open to part-time, full-time, and PRN shift preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities Provide therapeutic interventions including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and manual techniques Document patient responses to treatment and progress toward goals Communicate effectively with the supervising PT about patient status Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area Educate patients and families about home exercise programs and equipment use Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinic operations

Qualifications:

Associate's degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or eligibility to obtain, preferred State license/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in good standing or eligibility to obtain, preferred Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) for PTAs or eligibility to take exam, preferred Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic exercise principles Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform treatments Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Experienced and new graduates encouraged to apply!
