The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, with expertise in various therapeutic techniques, including trigger point therapy, and a comprehensive understanding of physiology and anatomy. In this role, you will collaborate with licensed therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative services across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. Your commitment to compassionate care and clinical excellence will support our patients' recovery and overall well-being. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized care plans tailored to patient needs across diverse settings such as inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and home health environments. Deliver therapeutic interventions including trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises to promote mobility and pain relief. Monitor patient progress, document treatment outcomes accurately, and communicate updates effectively to the healthcare team. Support discharge planning by preparing patients for transition to home or other care facilities through education and follow-up instructions. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment adhering to all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that address orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, and other specialized patient populations. Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques, medical terminology, and relevant clinical practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requirements Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with appropriate state certification or registration. Prior experience working in skilled nursing facilities or inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred; experience in outpatient clinics or home health is advantageous. Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care interventions. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and discharge planning processes. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients and their families clearly and compassionately.
