Pediatric Physical Physical Therapist Assistant Company Description Expanding physical therapy company looking for a pediatric PTA for a school-based therapy opportunity in the Eastern Arkansas area (Marianna to Helena region)! Great pay, full time! Mileage paid! Flexible hours! Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant. The Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for assisting physical therapists in providing therapy services to children. Daily tasks include implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, documenting patient care, and communicating with parents and caregivers. This role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients. The assistant will also be involved in home care visits as needed. Qualifications Experience in Pediatric Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Strong skills in Patient Care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well within a team environment Certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant Experience working in a school-based setting is a plus CPR certification is beneficial Must have Certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant Must have a valid driver's license Must be willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations Must be located within commutable distance to Eastern Arkansas area (Marianna, Helena and surrounding areas) Preferred qualifications Experience in Pediatric Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Experience working in a school-based setting Strong skills in patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well within a team environment CPR certification is beneficial
