Physical Therapist Assistant $5000 sign-on bonus

We are looking for a committed and patient-focused, PTA to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with physical, mental or developmental conditions. You will assist the Physical Therapist as directed. You will report to the Therapy Director. Starting pay is $32.00 an hour and up, depending on experience. $5000 Sign-On Bonus paid in increments after 60 days of full-time employment.

Pay Rate:

dependent on experience. Responsibilities Demonstrate competency of all rehabilitation tasks assigned. Assist with resident treatment assigned under the direct supervision of the licensed therapist. Confers formerly and informally with other team members in coordinating the administrative function of patient care. Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components Performs the operation of rehabilitation equipment for which training has been received and competency demonstrated. Observe, note, and report on progress of long- and short-term treatment goals Collect data and document processes followed Perform other duties as assigned. Recommended Minimum Position Qualifications Physical Therapist Assistant certification High School diploma or Grade Equivalency Degree Ability to understand instruction and execute assigned tasks
