Summary:
Will assist in the operations of physical therapy clinic including patient care, administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling and referral and authorization management, equipment set-up/break-down, assistance with recovery and longevity services, confidential medical record management, general office maintenance/cleaning, and other relevant duties related to the overall function of the PT department.
Essential Duties:
Patient care may include assessing vitals, supervising exercises and stretching, modality application (heat, ice, electrical stimulation, traction), patient transportation. Administrative responsibilities may include patient scheduling, copying, faxing, typing/computer use, front office duties including phone work. Medical record management may include ensuring confidentiality under HIPAA law, insurance authorizations, and filing. Office maintenance and cleaning may include table surface disinfecting, laundry, exercise and modality equipment care, and supply inventory and stocking.
Physical Demands:
To be successful at the described duties, candidate should be able to: Lift floor-to-waist: 50 lbs Lift overhead: 10 lbs

35 lbs, 6-10 ft
Push/Pull:
50lbs 6-10ft Stand, walk, reach Squat, kneel, crawl
Communication Requirements:
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Must be able to communicate through written instructions and complete routine written logs and reports. Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal instructions, as well as respond to audible stimuli. Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Or 3 months experience in related fieldwork including anatomy, medical terminology, exercise Current CPR documentation
