Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a Rehabilitation team in Yuma, AZ . This role involves assisting in the delivery of physical therapy services in accordance with physician referrals, while ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions tailored to patient needs Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising therapist Document treatments accurately and within required timeframes Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and recovery plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and departmental policies

Requirements:

Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program (or equivalent) Active Arizona PTA License BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum 2 years of experience Experience in acute inpatient care setting preferred
