We have eight locations throughout San Diego County specializing in outpatient orthopedics and hand therapy. We are looking to hire a staff PTA at our Carlsbad office, located in Carlsbad, CA. The position available is a full-time staff Physical Therapist Assistant with benefits detailed below. Experience in outpatient orthopedics is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply. Opportunities for advancement into supervisor and clinic director responsibilities are available to motivated staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited program Current state licensure BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Health Care Provider (CPR and AED) Program Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient in EHR documentation
JOB DUTIES
Performs and documents ongoing daily SOAP notes of patient's condition. Coordinates with PT to maintain treatment with the prescribed plan of care. Documentation must provide rationale for skilled intervention and specific treatment programs. Documentation must be completed accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies. Provide the highest level of care with patient focused approach Manage caseload effectively to attain both positive quality and financial outcomes as well as meet expected productivity standards Maintain positive rapport and workplace relationships with other staff COMPENSATION and
