In this energetic and rewarding position, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver personalized care across diverse settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, skilled nursing homes, home health environments, and acute care units. Your expertise in physiotherapy techniques and patient-centered care will contribute to positive recovery outcomes and enhance patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Perform therapeutic interventions including trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve function. Support patient care by monitoring progress, providing encouragement, and ensuring safety during therapy sessions. Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and discharge plans to promote ongoing recovery at home or in other settings. Maintain accurate documentation of treatment activities, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in discharge planning efforts by coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care. Stay current with physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and physiotherapy best practices to deliver effective treatment. Skills Proficiency in trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques for pain relief. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice. Experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics or home health environments. Knowledge of care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and acute care patients. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and outpatient therapy protocols. Prior experience with clinic-based physiotherapy services and familiarity with orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation is highly desirable.
