Overview:
The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and assisting in the rehabilitation process. This position offers the opportunity to work with patients in their homes.Pay rate:
Physical Therapist (PT)- $90 to $100 per visit Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- $60 per visit
Responsibilities:
Assessing the patient's physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan Assessing the home, and work environments of the patient Implement therapeutic exercise programs Reviewing the patient's progress and adapting the treatment accordingly Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercises Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls Maintain patient records accurately Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careExperience:
Experience or interest in working with geriatric patients Strong patient care skills Familiarity with post hospital interventions and post-acute care environments Experience or familiarity with orthopedics, geriatrics, outpatient settings, and home health care is preferred. Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience while working with diverse patient populations Understanding of medical terminology Experience in Home Health Physical Therapy Services.Work Location:
