Physical Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with patient processes to ensure a positive start to each session Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup for therapy sessions Provide patient treatments and follow Physical Therapist POC(Plan of Care) Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, documenting observations accurately Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Coordinating follow-up care with pt/pcg Uphold infection control protocols and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all patients and staff Report to Case Manager of abnormal vitals, hospitalization, falls or any changes in patient's care Requirements Strong commitment to patient service and delivering compassionate care in fast-paced settings Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to effectively support clinical activities Clinical experience in in home health care settings or environments is highly desirable Familiarity with orthopedic, geriatrics Experience working with patients in hospital medicine or rehabilitation programs is a plus Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic healthcare setting Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and support diverse patient needs Embark on a meaningful career path where your energy fuels healing journeys! $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
