Job Description

This Is Not a Typical Front Desk Role We're not looking for someone to "check patients in." We're looking for someone to run the front of the clinic like they own it. This is a leadership role inside a fast-moving, high-volume chiropractic practice. You'll be responsible for the patient experience, the flow of the day, and the performance of the front desk. If you've led teams in retail, hospitality, fitness, or another service-based business and you're tired of nights and weekends, this is your opportunity to bring those skills into a structured, high-growth healthcare environment.
The Role:
Run the Ship. Lead the Team. Drive Results. You are the Air Traffic Controller of the clinic. You make sure everything runs on time, patients feel taken care of, and nothing slips through the cracks. You're not here to manage tasks. You're here to own outcomes. What You'll Be Responsible For Lead & Coach the Front Desk Team Train, guide, and hold standards for front desk/admin staff Set the tone for professionalism, energy, and execution Step in when needed and lead from the front Own the Patient Experience Ensure every patient interaction is smooth, clear, and professional Help patients understand and follow through with care plans Build trust that leads to retention, referrals, and reviews Control the Flow of the Clinic Keep schedules tight, organized, and fully optimized Minimize wait times and eliminate bottlenecks Maintain clear communication between front desk and providers Drive Key Performance Metrics You'll monitor and improve: Phone answer rate and call quality Appointment show rate and confirmations Scheduling accuracy and calendar utilization Re-booking and follow-up completion Overall front desk consistency and execution Solve Problems Before They Become Problems Handle patient concerns with confidence and professionalism Spot inefficiencies and fix them at the root Keep the day running cleanly. No chaos. No surprises. Protect the Providers Take ownership of admin and logistics so doctors can focus on care Ensure the clinic runs smoothly from open to close Who This Role Is For You'll do well here if you're: A natural leader who takes ownership without being asked Highly organized and detail-oriented under pressure Comfortable leading conversations, not avoiding them Someone who cares about performance, not just completing tasks The person people rely on to "keep everything together" You don't need healthcare experience. We can teach systems. We can't teach ownership. Requirements 2+ years in a fast-paced, customer-facing role Prior leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, trainer, etc.) Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable learning and using technology and systems Bonus if you have: Experience in healthcare, chiropractic, or wellness Background in sales, patient coordination, or retention-focused roles What You Get A real leadership role with ownership and impact Clear path for growth as we expand Weekday schedule only (no weekends) Competitive hourly pay + performance bonuses A high-standard, no-dead-weight team culture About Intero Chiropractic We are not a typical chiropractic clinic. We specialize in solving complex cases that other providers fail to fix, using a structured, results-driven approach to care. We're growing quickly and building something bigger: Expanding locations Training doctors nationwide Developing education platforms and content We hold a high standard for how we operate, how we communicate, and how we serve patients. If you want to be part of a team that is serious about growth, performance, and doing things the right way, you'll fit here.
