Physical Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients with various musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of the physical therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions.
• Instruct patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a physical therapist assistant.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
