In this energetic and rewarding position, you'll work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans, assist with therapeutic interventions, and support patients' journey to improved mobility and well-being. Your expertise will help foster a positive healing environment, ensuring patients receive attentive, personalized care that promotes recovery and enhances quality of life. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans for patients across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and skilled nursing facility settings. .Deliver therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatments, and communicate observations to the supervising therapist for ongoing plan adjustments. Educate patients and their families on care plans, post-discharge instructions, and home exercise programs to promote continued recovery outside clinical settings. Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Requirements Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) from an accredited program is required. Proven experience working in inpatient facilities, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy. Familiarity with care plans tailored for geriatic populations. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as inpatient units while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams effectively. Prior experience with skilled nursing facility or home health services is a plus.
