Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Benefits:
PTO Referral Bonuses Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines: Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems. Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency. Provides direct clinincal treatment in accordance with an established plan of care. Maintains confidentiality of patient records. May participate with home assessments, simulated or actual as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed. Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Qualifications and Skills:
Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program. One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued by the state of California. Mariner Healthcare reserves the right to discontinue any bonus program at anytime.
