This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with licensed chiropractors and acupuncturists, assisting in delivering exceptional treatment experiences. You will be responsible for preparing patients, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic flow, all while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in holistic health practices and patient service. Duties Assist chiropractors and acupuncturists with patient care, including collecting medical histories and explaining procedures. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness and organization of equipment. Assistance in acupuncture needle removal and disposal, modality application, electrodes application / monitoring and adjustment for electro-acupuncture treatment, checking / assisting patients' need while in the room for acupuncture treatment Simple but frequent assistance with soft tissue care (no manual therapy is required), exercise demonstration, etc. Support patient care by explaining post-treatment instructions and answering basic questions about procedures. Assist in electronic health record (EHR) systems in patient information collection, treatment notes assistance, and ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding for billing purposes. Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining patient records. Support clinic operations by maintaining inventory of supplies, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to health and safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience or familiarity with holistic health care settings is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology is desirable. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically. Experience working with EHR systems and understanding ICD coding processes will be preferred but not required. Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately when necessary. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage intake procedures, documentation, and clinic flow efficiently.
