We are focused on patient outcomes over productivity goals. Our therapists receive a minimum of 30 minutes one on one with patients at every visit, seeing 12-15 patients per day. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and well-being. In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized treatment plans, assist in patient care across diverse settings, and promote optimal mobility and function. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help patients regain independence, improve quality of life, and achieve their health goals in a supportive environment that values continuous learning and professional growth. Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide hands-on therapy interventions, including trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, and manual techniques to reduce pain and enhance mobility. Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatment, and communicate updates to the healthcare team effectively. Support patients across various settings such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health visits, and acute care environments. Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques, discharge planning, and injury prevention strategies. Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology while adhering to confidentiality standards. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and patients with complex medical conditions. Experience Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant in outpatient settings. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology necessary for effective patient care delivery. Familiarity with physiotherapy modalities such as trigger point therapy and other manual techniques. Experience supporting discharge planning processes and managing care plans for diverse patient populations including geriatrics. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients on treatment procedures and health maintenance strategies.
