Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Assistant, where you will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that values your skills and dedication to exceptional patient care. Duties Assist licensed physical therapist & chiropractor in implementing individualized care plans for patients, primarily post motor-vehicle accident patient care. Conduct therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy and physiotherapy techniques to alleviate pain and enhance mobility Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatments accurately in medical records Educate patients and their families on exercises, activity modifications, and injury prevention strategies Support discharge planning by preparing patients for ongoing care at home or in other settings Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards during all procedures Assist chiropractor and office manager with patient flow and communication as needed Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy to effectively assist in treatment delivery Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices Experience with physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and other manual therapies Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual patient needs Excellent communication skills for educating patients and coordinating with healthcare teams Excellent interpersonal skills, working as part of a team, and delivering high quality patient care Prior experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, or home health settings is highly desirable Understanding of discharge planning processes and rehabilitation goals for diverse patient populations Fluent in
English & Spanish Pay:
$25.45 - $30.65 per hour
