We are looking for a physical therapist assistant for a 20+ hours per week schedule, Monday-Thursday in the afternoons with optional hours Friday mornings. The candidate must have strong multitasking and organizational skills, have an upbeat and energetic personality and possess a genuine desire to help people. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care and assistance to patients in their rehabilitation journey. Your primary responsibility will be to support the therapeutic goals of our patients by implementing treatment plans, performing exercises, documenting progress, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Proven experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions. Experience with manual therapy and therapeutic exercises are a must. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals. Strong observational and problem-solving abilities to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients in performing exercises and manipulate therapeutic equipment. Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient computer skills to document patient progress and access electronic medical records. Commitment to patient-centered care, empathy, and compassion.
