Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide patient care services under the supervision of a qualified physical therapist. The primary responsibilities include executing the established plan of care, documenting therapy sessions, and participating in educational programs. Key Responsibilities Provide patient care services as delegated by the physical therapist by following the established plan of care. Communicate any changes in patient condition to therapist. Timely documentation of therapy sessions including goals and objectives. Timely submission of billing information. Participating in educating the client and family. Participating in in-service programs. Working knowledge of HIPAA. Qualifications PTA License (CO) Graduated from an accredited program (associates degree) Preferred skills include Ortho, Work Comp, Medicare/Medicaid Experience working with aging population and EMR- Turbo PT Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
