Position Overview:

Serenity Estates of Daytona is seeking a proactive PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our premier, facility-led clinical team. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking to supplement their income while maintaining full schedule autonomy. As a direct, in-house employee, you will collaborate with a permanent interdisciplinary team dedicated to high-standard geriatric rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Execution:

Implement high-quality physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Intervention Monitoring:

Track resident responses to treatment and adapt sessions to ensure steady functional progression.

Patient Education:

Train residents and caregivers on safe transfer techniques, gait training, and the correct use of assistive devices.

Regulatory Documentation:

Complete accurate and timely clinical records in full compliance with Florida state licensure and facility protocols.

Requirements:

Active professional license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida. Strong interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
