Job Overview We're seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you work under a Physical Therapist (PT). Experience with geriatrics, human development is beneficial. You will work closely with patients and must accurately document their current condition and progress. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and assist in the rehabilitation process.   • Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises for continued improvement
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Experience in occupational health or acute care settings preferred
  • Knowledge of trigger point therapy, medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
