Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position is located in a skilled nursing facility in Lake Wales, FL Benefits & Pay Of Physical Therapy Assistant SALARY $35

  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and relieve pain.
  • Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
  • Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques.
  • Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of various treatment modalities to support patient care.
  • Provide support in areas such as occupational health, acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, and trigger point therapy.
Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled for referral to Physical Therapist Contributes objective data to Physical Therapists as allowed by scope of practice Provide Physical Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success Requirements of a Physical Therapist M inimum of Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program A current Florida PTA License Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Must be computer/tech savy•
