Join Our Team We are seeking a PTA to join our physical therapy department, which is located within the Spine Institute of Central Florida. Our team is passionate about helping patients restore movement, reduce pain, and improve quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based care. Position Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care for patients with orthopedic, spinal, post-surgical, and chronic pain conditions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, values hands-on treatment techniques, and thrives in a collaborative outpatient setting. Responsibilities Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist Provide patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on communication, compassion, and outcomes Perform and assist with manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises Support spinal rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery programs Utilize therapeutic modalities as appropriate Educate patients and families on exercises, home programs, and injury prevention Accurately document patient progress and treatment sessions Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care Maintain a clean, organized, and positive treatment environment Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current or eligible PTA license Strong interest in outpatient orthopedics, spinal rehabilitation, and pain management Experience or familiarity with: Manual therapy Spinal rehabilitation Therapeutic modalities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient care
