Job Summary:
At Palms Care Center, we are dedicated to helping our residents maximize their potential and live their lives to the fullest. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will assist patients in achieving their maximum physical potential and level of independence. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Recording patient responses to treatments and reporting outcomes to physical therapists Preparing for each patient's therapy sessions Assisting with patient transportation and ordering depleted supplies Answering phones and completing insurance forms and other paperwork Reading patient evaluations and familiarizing yourself with the Plan of Care Administering balance and muscle strength testsResponsibilities and Duties:
Graduate from an accredited PTA school and certified in the state of Florida Professional and ethical team player CPR certified Basic knowledge in all modalities Understanding of goniometer and dynamometer operations Ability to assist with lifting, pulling, and pushing patients Compassionate, caring, and dedicated to helping patients achieve their maximum physical potentialWhat We Offer:
