PTA - PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - PER DIEM

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

PRN PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will assist in the rehabilitation process of patients, including recording patient responses to treatments, reporting outcomes, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.

Responsibilities:

Prepare for each patient's therapy session Assist in transporting patients to and from treatment areas Order and restock supplies Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries Complete insurance forms and paperwork Read patient evaluations and reports Collaborate with physical therapists to develop and implement patient treatment plans Administer balance and muscle strength tests Assist with patient transfers and lifting, pulling, and/or pushing as needed

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited PTA school and certified in the state of Florida Professional and ethical team player with excellent communication skills Familiarity with NetHealth and Point Click Care documentation systems Current CPR certification Basic knowledge of physical therapy modalities and equipment operation (e.g. goniometer, dynamometer) Ability to assist with patient transfers and lifting, pulling, and/or pushing Compassionate, caring, and committed to helping patients achieve maximum physical potential and independence
