Job Summary:

Suwannee Medical Personnel is seeking a licensed and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in their homes. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will help patients improve mobility, regain physical function, and achieve their personalized recovery goals within the comfort and privacy of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out physical therapy treatment plans Assist patients with exercises, therapeutic techniques, and mobility training. Monitor and report on patient progress, response to treatment, and any changes in condition. Document all services provided accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with agency and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with the supervising PT, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the care team. Travel to patients' homes within the assigned territory and maintain punctual and professional conduct.

Qualifications:

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Florida. Current CPR certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or home health setting preferred. Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
