Our focus is to provide compassionate care, while creating a fun and playful environment where children can grow and learn. Our Miami Lakes, FL location is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing team.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Producing daily electronic progress notes
  • Performing therapy treatment in office, at patient's home or remote location, and virtually
  • Carrying out individualized treatment plans that address specific functional needs
  • Ability to collaborate with other disciplines on best practices to improve progress for patient/child.
Job Requirements:
  • State of Florida (DOH) license
  • Medicaid Provider number
  • Level II Background Screening fingerprints
  • One-year experience in a pediatric setting (preferred)
Skills:
  • Understanding of handling and responding to Autism and ADHD behaviors
  • Have a caring and nurturing demeanor
  • Ability to collaborate with other disciplines on best practices to improve progress for patient/child.
  • Detail oriented
  • Reliable - Willing to commit to a recurring schedule of treatment visits
Job Types:
