Our focus is to provide compassionate care, while creating a fun and playful environment where children can grow and learn. Our Miami Lakes, FL location is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Producing daily electronic progress notes
- Performing therapy treatment in office, at patient's home or remote location, and virtually
- Carrying out individualized treatment plans that address specific functional needs
- Ability to collaborate with other disciplines on best practices to improve progress for patient/child.
Job Requirements:
- State of Florida (DOH) license
- Medicaid Provider number
- Level II Background Screening fingerprints
- One-year experience in a pediatric setting (preferred)
Skills:
- Understanding of handling and responding to Autism and ADHD behaviors
- Have a caring and nurturing demeanor
- Ability to collaborate with other disciplines on best practices to improve progress for patient/child.
- Detail oriented
- Reliable - Willing to commit to a recurring schedule of treatment visits
