About Us Village Home Care is a patient-centered home health agency dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care in the comfort of patients' homes. We proudly serve the Ocala and The Villages communities, helping patients improve mobility, regain independence, and enhance their quality of life. Position Summary Village Home Care is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing home health team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic services that help patients restore function, improve mobility, and safely remain at home. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility improvement Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members Participate in care coordination and case conferences as needed Qualifications Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license (required) Graduate of an accredited PTA program Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred (home health experience a plus) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a home setting Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Current CPR certification Benefits Flexible scheduling and autonomy Mileage reimbursement Supportive and collaborative clinical team Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Why Join Village Home Care?
